I have a five step process for each of my clients. Your massage session is actually the third of those steps! Here is an explanation of my process to help you feel better, move better, and live better.

  1. Consultation

During your first appointment, we’ll take the time to thoroughly discuss your symptoms, lifestyle, and expectations to get a clear understanding of your current situation. I’ll ask about your mobility, activity levels, and daily habits as they relate to your discomfort. Additionally, I may assess your posture to determine if misalignment is contributing to the issue.

  1. Personalized Plan

Following our consultation, I will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. This plan will incorporate massage and corrective exercises, as appropriate, to address your concerns. We’ll also discuss potential root causes of your discomfort and the strategies I’ll use to help resolve them effectively.

  1. Therapy Session

Your therapy sessions will be customized based on your treatment plan. Typically, we’ll begin with massage for the majority of the session, followed by a transition into corrective exercises. I’ll guide you through each exercise during the session and provide a detailed exercise plan, complete with illustrations and videos for easy reference. These exercises are designed to take less than five minutes a day and can significantly enhance the success of your treatment plan.

  1. Fine-Tuning

The resolution of your symptoms may require more than one session, depending on their severity and extent. During the initial sessions, we will continuously evaluate your progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed to address any persistent or emerging issues. To ensure consistent improvement, I may recommend weekly or biweekly sessions while we work through your symptoms.

  1. Long-term Wellness

As your symptoms improve, we will transition to a long-term maintenance schedule. For many clients, this involves a regular 60-minute massage each month. Consistently scheduled sessions play a crucial role in managing past symptoms and preventing new ones, helping you stay at your best and maintain optimal well-being.
