Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear to a session?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely during both the hands on portion and the exercises. Most clients choose to remain partially or fully clothed during the session. The goal is to ensure you feel relaxed and at ease while receiving the best care possible.
What is Adhesion and how does it form?
Adhesions form when the body tries to repair stress, injury, or overuse by laying down extra collagen. Over time, that collagen becomes thick, sticky, and restrictive, causing tissues that should glide to instead get stuck. This is what limits motion and creates tightness or pain.
What is Adhesion Release Method?
Adhesion release methods are hands-on techniques that break up the thick, sticky collagen that forms between muscles, fascia, and nerves. By applying precise pressure and movement, these methods restore normal tissue glide, reduce tightness, improve range of motion, and relieve pain at the source—not just the symptoms.
What will my case look like?
My Typical cases will range between 15 and 30 minutes twice a week for around 4 to 8 weeks. Each case varies in that is need and will be discussed during the initial consultation.
In my case will there be any homework exercises at home?
Releasing adhesions frees up motion, but strengthening and retraining the body helps keep those changes. After adhesions are released, targeted exercises:
-
Reinforce proper movement patterns
-
Improve stability and load transfer
-
Prevent the same adhesions from coming back
Adhesion release + the right exercises = long-lasting results.
